Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen pineapple chunks
  • ½ cup pineapple juice
  • ½ cup cream of coconut
  • ½ cup ice
  • Pineapple wedges for garnish
  • Maraschino cherries optional

Instructions

  • Measure out all the ingredients before starting. Using frozen pineapple helps keep the drink thick and cold without needing too much ice.
  • Add the frozen pineapple chunks, pineapple juice, cream of coconut, and ice into a high-speed blender. Make sure the lid is secured properly.
  • Start blending on low speed for a few seconds, then increase to high speed. Blend for about 30–45 seconds, or until the mixture becomes smooth, creamy, and lump-free.
    Blend Virgin Piña Colada
  • Stop the blender and check the texture. If the drink is too thick, add a small splash of pineapple juice and blend again. If it’s too thin, add a little more ice or frozen pineapple.
  • Pour the virgin piña colada into chilled glasses for best results.
  • Garnish with a fresh pineapple wedge or a maraschino cherry if desired. Serve immediately while cold and creamy.

Notes

  • This virgin piña colada tastes best when served immediately, as the ice will melt if it sits too long.
  • If the drink feels too thick, add a splash of pineapple juice or coconut water and blend again.
  • For extra creaminess, use full-fat cream of coconut and chilled ingredients.
  • Want it a little sweeter? Add a teaspoon of honey or simple syrup and adjust to taste.
  • Chilling your glasses in the freezer for 10–15 minutes helps keep the drink cold and refreshing longer.
